Emily first picked up a camera at the age of 12. using her mother’s old 35mm film camera (an Olympus om20) she learnt about photography in a primitive setting. Using a fully manual camera & processing her own negative film.

A passion was instilled in the craft, and it never left as Emily went on to study photography at school & college, and finally graduating with honours in fine art photography in 2015 at Bournemouth’s art institute. One of the leading creative universities in the UK.

With an orientation towards portraiture & a connection to nature, her style has evolved into the unique aesthetic you can see today.

Emily first opened Hudson Photography in July of 2019, and with growing demand, Kieran has since joined the team (February 2020). Kieran has a lot of experience with both photography & film. Kieran’s journey started in the military as a drone operator, developing over time into the DSLR world.
